Holiday Tradeshow Was The Best Ever!
 BNI’s 8th Annual
Holiday Trade Show at the Wilmington DoubleTree Hotel set a record
for attendance and trading. Due to an infusion of new and exciting
vendors and over 35 silent auction items, there was over $275,000
of merchandise available for sale 100% on barter. The total amount
of trading done for the night was over $220,000 - nearly double
the amount of previous years! Ron Whitney, BNI’s President
attributes the big increase to improved customer service and
a targeted sales effort, “It’s all about being responsive,
caring and professional with our existing members’ needs
and also staying focused on attracting valuable new members to
the exchange. We did a good job on both fronts in 2001, and the
success of the Trade Show is the proof.” The BNI staff would
like to thank all who attended, participating vendors, volunteers,
and all who offered items for the Silent Auction. Also a big
thanks goes to the staff of the Doubletree Hotel. The Trade Show
was a smashing success thanks to all of your help – we couldn’t
have done it without you.
